Banking Circle wins best cross-border payments platform in Pan Finance Awards

London, 17th March 2022 – Recognising the value of the real-time clearing and settlement network Banking Circle has built, Pan Finance has awarded the Payments Bank the accolade of ‘Best Cross-Border Payments Platform’ in the 2022 awards programme.

Pan Finance provides concise, intelligible, and up-to-date news for its readership of more than 200,000 individuals based in over 150 countries. Pan Finance delivers global financial intelligence through special reports, a news website and a quarterly magazine as well as an annual awards programme. The awards aim to shine a spotlight on organisations and individuals that have excelled in their field, whatever the size of the company. Both Pan Finance readers and its editorial team nominate potential winners, and a panel of experienced business journalists select the winners.

“At Banking Circle, we are committed to substantial investment in the integration of a vast network of local clearing and payments schemes to build a unique super-correspondent banking network,” commented Anders la Cour, CEO of Banking Circle Group. “This network allows us to do ‘the heavy lifting’ for our Bank, Payments business and online marketplace clients. To have been recognised by Pan Finance for the significance of the platform we have built is confirmation that we are making a real difference to the B2B cross-border payments landscape.

“Our mission is to make international payments feel like local payments, and we are taking on a job that very few other banks or FinTechs want to tackle in order to achieve that. We are reducing the cost and time of international payments. Our market-leading propositions speed up payments, reduce transaction costs and landing fees and eliminate operational errors and admin costs, all without the client having to invest in building internal solutions. It is an honour to have received this recognition from Pan Finance, confirming that we are benefiting the financial ecosystem around the world.”
