‘OUR’ payments are subject to Banking Circle’s standard fees plus an additional guaranteed fee of 20 € per transaction. As this is a standard and guaranteed fee, if the fees charged by the payee’s banks exceed the additional 20 €, Banking Circle will not charge the extra costs to your account. Rather than pass on to you the actual charges levied by third-party banks, which will vary in amount and may be claimed some weeks or months after we have processed your payment, we will recoup these costs by levying a standard 20 € charge to your account. Third-party banks involved in routing the payment will separately settle their processing claims directly with us.

The total cost of OUR payments will be included in your monthly invoice. If your fee account is not a EUR account, the total cost of the payments for that month in EUR will directly be converted to your fee account’s currency with a standard FX rate at the time of invoicing.

This charging option is not available for EUR payments within the EU/EEA area due to the Payment Services Act that requires the payer and the payee to share the costs for transfers in EUR within the EU/EEA area. Such transfers are governed by EU regulations. The charging option is only available for cross-border payments therefore Faster payments and CHAPs do not apply.
