London, 6th September 2021 – Banking Circle has been named as a multiple finalist in the 2021 Payments Awards, which will be announced at a live event at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on 11th November.
Underlining Banking Circle’s continued investment in delivering solutions that improve the speed and reduce the cost of cross border payments, the company has been shortlisted in four categories of the Payments Awards.
- Best Cross-Border Payments Infrastructure
- Best Cross-Border Payments Service
- B2B Payments Innovation of the Year
- Payments Infrastructure Award
Crucially the shortlisting also reflects the role Banking Circle is playing in empowering B2B payments, fundamental to the recovery of the global economy following the pandemic as Anders la Cour, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Banking Circle explained. “Banking Circle is wholly focused on delivering a payments solution that will enhance FinTechs’ and Banks’ customer propositions, which we know is fundamental to oiling the wheels of the global economy. The ‘investment light’ payments solutions we provide enable Financial Institutions to support the businesses that are bouncing back from the pandemic.
“To be shortlisted in four categories in this year’s Payments Awards is testament to the strength and innovation of our solutions, and the difference they make to the payments industry today.”
