Banks want to deliver both core and non-core services that their customers require – it’s fundamental to growing revenue and profitability. But beyond the core bank account, banks find it harder to adapt, innovate and deliver because of legacy. And 2020 did little to help in that respect.
Banking Circle research of C-suite executives in banks across Europe has found that working with third-party service providers is an important part of business planning to enhance customer propositions and future-proof their organisations. Indeed, half said they already have partners and another third will partner up in the next year.
