Banking Circle offers access to SWIFT, the primary communication network between banks, as a way to instruct global money transfers through our correspondent banking relationships – referred to as cross-border payments.
Our correspondent banking partners typically work on a reciprocal basis, whereby a bilateral arrangement is agreed for the handling of payment instructions via Nostro/Vostro accounts. Payment instructions are sent via the SWIFT network and routed according to the banks and beneficiary destinations involved.
