Saxo Payments Banking Circle repeats success as it is shortlisted in three categories in 2017 Emerging Payment Awards

London, August 2017 – Reinforcing the relevance of its solutions for cross border payments, industry-leading financial utility, Saxo Payments, has been shortlisted in three categories of the 2017 Emerging Payment Awards.

The Emerging Payments Awards are designed to showcase the best of the best in the payments sector and Saxo Payments’ shortlisting in the 2017 awards repeats the company’s success in 2016 when it took top spot in three categories.

For 2017, the company’s strong track record has been recognised with shortlisting in the Best Service Organisation supporting the Payments Industry and Best Cross Border Payment Solution categories. Despite only launching in January 2016, as at July 2017 the Banking Circle annualised monthly run rate was $36 billion.

The company’s latest innovation, the Saxo Payments Banking Circle Virtual IBAN, has also received recognition with shortlisting in the Best Back Office Innovation category. Delivering full transparency and faster settlement on payments and transfers, Banking Circle Virtual IBAN is a unique proposition, giving FX and Payments businesses a crucial competitive edge by enhancing the service they can deliver to their customers.

“Since launching we have been focused on getting our solutions into as many FinTech businesses as possible, providing them with a financial utility that enables them to focus on their customer service proposition”, said Anders la Cour, Chief Executive Officer of Saxo Payments. “It is therefore tremendously exciting to once again be shortlisted in the prestigious Emerging Payments Awards which are influential across the market”.
