About the speakers

Sarah Lauridsen
Head of Products and Solutions at Banking Circle

Sarah Lauridsen is Head of Products and Solutions at Banking Circle. She has worked in finance for more than two decades, predominantly in digital transformation and product development. Sarah’s career has been wide-ranging, from hands-on mathematical modelling and coding, to leading large product and engineering teams through transformational change.

Prior to Banking Circle, Sarah spent 14 years at Nordea, most recently as Head of Digital Platforms and Marketing in the Capital Markets unit. Sarah started her career in London with Goldman Sachs, and holds a degree in mathematical statistics from the University of Copenhagen.

Claus Richter
Chief Operating Officer at P27 Nordic Payments

Claus Richter joined P27 in 2019 as Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining P27, Claus served at Nordea for almost seven years, most recently as Head of Transaction Banking Solutions. Before joining Nordea, Claus worked for consultancy firm Raft Consulting for more than five years and spent almost eight years at ABN AMRO in programme/project management roles.

He holds an Executive MBA degree from AVT Business School and a degree in Marketing and Finance from International Business Academy.

Esther Groen
Adviser to Holland FinTech and Executive Board member at the European Women Payments Network

Esther has an extensive background in strategy and execution, sales and business development, digital transformation, and building high-performing teams in the Banking and FinTech industry.

Esther currently advises Holland FinTech, a digital finance community in the Netherlands, and is an Executive Board member of the European Women Payments Network. Esther was formerly a partner at Innopay, a Dutch strategy consultancy firm in digital transactions, where she led the Banking, Payments and FinTech practice. Prior to joining Innopay, Esther spent more than 10 years in global transaction services at ABN Amro and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
