The position and why we need you

To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a Service Desk Operator, who can act as a support link for all areas of the organization by delivering IT production services. You will be reporting to the Service Desk Team Lead and be a part of our growing Engineering Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ​Act as the first and single point of contact for all users of Banking Circle
  • Assess tickets according to issue, priority, and urgency
  • Answer phone, email, and chat in time, according to related SLA/KPI in place
  • Handle general IT and onboarding requests
  • Provide full support autonomously for issues/requests
  • Escalate tickets to technical and management teams
  • Monitor backlogs to keep the request level low
  • Maintain a high user satisfaction
  • Support onsite at the user location

Skills & Qualifications

To be the right candidate you have around 2 years of experience, but a fresh graduate can also be ideal for the role. You have good knowledge of Windows 10, VMWare, and Office 365, as well as a flair for dealing with hardware. Experience with SharePoint, Cisco, Azure, and Jira ServiceDesk will be considered a plus.

As a person, we expect you to be an open and positive team player with strong organizational abilities and a problem-solving mindset. Clear and customer-oriented communication skills are also a must to communicate with users on all organizational levels. Flexibility in attitude and working hours is necessary due to a fast-paced working environment with a high rate of change. You must therefore also be able to juggle several tasks simultaneously and excel in meeting deadlines under pressure.

As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset.

The position will be based at Banking Circle’s headquarters in Luxembourg.
