Senior Project Manager – Luxembourg

To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a highly skilled, proactive and innovative Project Manager, who has a proven track record with facilitating & collaborating on strategic decisions and are willing to be a part of coordinating the activities that will be part of our expansion to Lichtenstein and other future jurisdictions. You will be reporting to the Head of Governance and be part of our growing Governance & Project Management function. You must be able to balance the business needs versus constraints and importantly ensure alignment between the stakeholders. The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to perform project management in accordance with standard principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management in accordance with standard principles
  • Cross functional stakeholder management to deliver on scope, time and cost
  • Maintain project portfolio overview for expansion projects
  • Train, coach and mentor Jr. Project Managers
  • Take Business cases and ideas and turn them into executable projects
  • Ensure change management and hand over to the organisation

Skills & Qualifications

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from a similar role where you have a minimum of 5 years experience with Project Management in regulatory projects preferably within the insurance, banking or oil and gas sector. You have substantial experience with business process analysis and documentation and experience with Project Management principles and tools. It is also expected that you can take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop execution plans and together with the project team deliver them in a successful and timely manner.​

As a person, you have good communication skills and are able to communicate and explain complex concepts to stakeholders. You have a natural authority and a highly organized & structured approach to problem solving. It is an asset if you possess an in-depth knowledge and interest in project management: requirement gathering, scoping, stakeholder involvement. Furthermore, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential competencies to succeed in this role. ​

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English for this position you must further be fluent in German, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages it will be an asset.

The position will be based at Banking Circles Headquarters in Luxembourg but can eventually be placed in Liechtenstein.
