To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a highly experienced Payments Officer, who are able to support our team in the day-to-day monitoring and handling of the payments flow and ensure correct and timely processing. You will be reporting to the Team Lead of Payment Operations and be a part of our growing Payments function within Payment Operations working alongside the wider Operations function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure correct and timely payments processing
  • Handle exceptions and investigations
  • Perform 2nd level support for corporate clients
  • Develop best-in-class payment operations function
  • Driving automation level within payment operations
  • Build internal and external relations

Skills & Qualifications

To be the right candidate you should have at least 3-4 years of experience within payment processing, where you have worked with monitoring, exception handling and investigations. You have extensive knowledge of payment systems, SWIFT etc. and you have a relevant educational background (BSc level as a minimum). Understanding of SQLs and various programming languages will be considered a plus.

You will participate in a defined support rotation but could expect to have standard working hours in the interval between 7.00 to 21.00 CET after individual agreement.

As a person, we expect you to be an open and positive team-player with a structured and detail-oriented work and strong communication skills. Flexibility in attitude and working hours is necessary due to a fast-paced working environment with a high rate of changes. You must therefore also be able to juggle several tasks simultaneously and excel in meeting deadlines under pressure. As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages it will be an asset. The position will be based at Banking Circle’s offices in Luxembourg or London.
