Senior Development Engineer for Transaction Monitoring – Copenhagen

The position and why we need you

At Banking Circle we want to make an impact that pioneers the industry and creates instant value for our clients. An important strategic area for us is compliance and anti-money-laundering, where we have several important projects running. One of these is to build a new, state-of-the-art transaction monitoring platform for our internal analysts to investigate suspicious transactions. You will be part of a team that is building a new backend API to facilitate data views for the analysts, as well as orchestrating data and handling workflows with integration to other backend systems. All built in Azure from the ground up. You will have a say on how to build our solution, as well as getting a chance to help building a development team around it.

  • Development of APIs and back-end solutions
  • Automation of deployment pipelines and Azure resources
  • 3rd level support of the functionality that you have developed.

Skills & Qualifications

To be the right candidate we expect you to have a relevant educational background within computer science and a demonstrated capability from a similar role, where you have gained 5+ years of experience within C#, .NET, .NET Core, Web API and REST. You have previously worked with API level authentication and authorization using role-based access, OAUTH2/OpenID Connect, and other techniques. You are experienced working with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, and you are familiar with alternative storage solutions like Blob Storage, File Storage etc. We imagine that you are used to work in an agile setting and have experience with Azure, building and running large enterprise systems and implementing enterprise security. Testing your own code is important for you, and you have a diligent approach to unit- and integration testing, not only focusing on code coverage percentages, but also writing tests that exercise the right part of your code.

We furthermore expect you to be a dependable and knowledge-sharing team-player that cooperates well at all levels of an organization. As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. The position will be based at Banking Circle’s office in Copenhagen.
