To support that we are looking to hire a skilled and experienced Product Owner who wants to be a part of our exciting growth journey and collaborate with stakeholders across our entire organization. In this role, you will be the owner of our core banking system. You will be driving all tasks related to changes to the system, whether it’s smaller improvements or more strategic deliveries. You will also be the one taking lead on communicating these changes across to the organization and elegantly translate business requirements into feasible IT developments, and turn IT possibilities into business opportunities. With this role you will experience a high level of autonomy and really get the chance to define your own job, your ways of working, and ultimately be able to make a true impact on the organization itself.
- Participate in setting direction for system landscape on core components
- Balance development between running business/ improving client offering
- Prioritizing the backlog and be part of specifying user stories
- Drive all tasks related to changes to the system
- Run a clearly articulated system roadmap
Skills & Qualifications
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a relevant educational background and demonstrated capability from an applicable role, where you have gained 5-8 years of experience either from the payments industry or banking. We imagine that you have worked either as Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager or similar and already have an in-depth experience with building and prioritizing backlogs, understanding IT-architecture, stakeholder management, product ownership and knows how to translate business requirements into IT-development. A solid financial understanding and knowledge of core banking systems (accounts etc.) or payments in general will be seen as a great advantage. As a person, you are detail oriented, enthusiastic, eager to learn and a bit of a techie. You are good at bridging both strategic and operational tasks and break down requirements into action points and initiatives. You have the confidence to tackle technical complexities head on and masters crisp and clear communication. As Banking Circle is an international company, it’s a requirement that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. The position will be based at Banking Circle’s office in Copenhagen.
