In order to deliver best-in-class services to our clients, we aim to provide top-of-the-league stability and 2nd line support function. This function is a link between our Client Services, Incident Management, Payment Operations and Engineering teams, making sure that client issues are investigated and solved in a fast and efficient manner.

Initially, you will be working with daily operational tasks to become acquainted with the challenges the team is facing. This will give you valuable in-depth knowledge which is required in this position. Once the 2nd line has been established, you will oversee building and leading a team that will take client support to the next level by delivering quality services and support.

You will be part of the Payment Solutions Team in the COO area reporting to the Head of Payment Solutions. You will be responsible for quality assurance in relation to system and process changes for the E2E payment flow. There will be a number of clearly defined tasks, but this is also a role with a great deal of autonomy, where you can make a real impact in a growing company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Defining and implementing a quality assurance and 2nd line support function related to all payment processing systems
  • Initiate and drive projects that will lead to improvements
  • Collaborate with other teams to keep track of open incidents, impact, and resolution
  • Be a gatekeeper towards our Product and Core team with focus on quality assurance
  • Support the development of team members and plan short term and long-term resources

Skills and qualifications

We expect you to have a couple of years of experience with managing and/or building a team, preferably within a technical 1st or 2nd line support area. Ideal industries would be banking, payments, finance, or tech. You lead by example, are well-organized, and are able to make decisions and communicate them in a clear and professional manner.

Building and implementing processes from scratch, developing them over time and constantly adapting to change sounds exciting to you. As a person you are collaborative, service minded, driven and a team-player, who is willing to go the extra mile to create results. You are expected to have a relevant educational background at BSc level (or equivalent) as a minimum.

As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Mastery of other relevant languages will be an asset. The position will be based in either Copenhagen or Luxembourg.
