To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a highly skilled KYC Refresh Analyst, who is able to reinforce our KYC Refresh and Remediation team with performing ongoing due diligence (ODD) on our existing clients, both at periodic review and on an ad-hoc basis. The KYC Refresh Analyst will therefore be working with existing clients, to ensure information is analyzed and assessed, kept up to date and reflected within the Client file and supporting systems.
You will be reporting to the KYC Refresh and Remediation Team Lead and be a part of our growing Business AML – Client Onboarding function.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess complex ownership structures and identify and verify key related parties
- Demonstrate strong investigatory and analytical skills in assessing risks or concerns
- Undertake Enhanced Due Diligence processes based on risk level of client base
- Demonstrate ownership of the KYC refresh process and support the Sales and Relationship teams in KYC Refresh matters
- Continuously monitor regulatory development and keep internal activities up to date with best industry practices
- Ensure escalations are managed and appropriate actions taken to mitigate risks and take part in systems/ tool testing from an end-user perspective
Skills & Qualifications
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to be educated to a degree level or equivalent and have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role, where you have experience working with PSP/NBFI clients, KYC refresh case management and AML and related matters.
You have the ability to review and understand complex KYC structures together with an interest in and knowledge of AML legislation in the EU and relevant jurisdictions. You are in possession of good attention to detail and like to work under pressure, while delivering professional high standard work tasks.
As a person, you are a true team player with sound communication skills, who is able to work collaboratively with and through others. Also, you can work independently and proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment with lots of responsibility.
As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement that you are fluent in English both verbally and in writing. Fluency in French, German or Mandarin is considered an advantage.
The position will be based at Banking Circle’s Office in London.
