To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a talented Junior KYC Analyst who can take part in driving client due diligence (CDD) efforts, both for onboarding and ongoing maintenance.

Ongoing due diligence of existing clients is an integral part of knowing our client as a Bank. The KYC refresh and remediation team are responsible for performing ongoing due diligence (ODD) on our existing clients both at periodic review and on an ad-hoc basis. The role of the Junior KYC Analyst will therefore be to work with existing clients to ensure information held is up to date and accurate and reflected within the Client file and supporting systems.

You will be reporting to the KYC Onboarding team lead and have a number of touch points and stakeholders throughout the Business AML organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Undertake client onboarding and prepare client files for senior management approval
  • Contribute to the KYC refresh process from the point at which a case is coming due
  • Undertake Simplified, Standard and Enhanced Due Diligence processes based on risk level of client base
  • Support the Sales and Relationship teams in KYC Refresh and onboarding matters
  • Assess complex ownership structures and appropriately identify and verify key related parties
  • Demonstrate strong investigatory and analytical skills in assessing risks of prospect clients

Skills & Qualifications

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a university level education together with some experience within AML and related matters. Ideally, you can also demonstrate experience with CDD and correspondent banking.

You have the ability to quickly review and understand complex KYC structures and have an interest in and knowledge of AML legislation in the EU and relevant jurisdictions. An AML certification or similar is considered a plus.

As a person, you thrive in working with people in a collaborative manner, you are approachable, self-driven, proactive and have a can-do attitude.

As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset.

The position will be based at Banking Circle’s Office in London.
