To support that and our exciting journey, we are looking to hire an Integrated Internal Auditor to join our fast-growing business. You will be a member of the audit department of an international and technology-driven Bank. You will work directly under the supervision of the Head of Internal Audit and get the opportunity to put your mark on the further development of the team. You will be cooperating with business areas across the organisation when coordinating and executing Internal Audit activities. You will be conducting risk-based internal audits on key activities of the bank, including financial, operational and ICT domains.
- Conduct risk-based internal audits on key activities, both in business and ICT domains
- Prepare, execute and document tests of control design, operating effectiveness and conduct interviews to fully understand the processes under review
- Identifying areas of risk, deficiencies in controls and make recommendations
- Draft reports and confirm all findings with relevant stakeholders, including our executive management
- Ensure, track and monitor appropriate follow-up actions
- Help plan, design and oversee the auditing process
- Design and improve auditing techniques and benchmarks
- Continuous improvement of the audit process and function
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for a hands-on Internal Auditor, who has a delivery focused mindset and the ability to challenge and suggest initiatives as to how processes can continuously be improved. We expect you have a demonstrated capability from a similar role, where you have gained 2-4 years of experience within external and/or internal audit preferably within banking or financial services.
You have an applicable educational background (BSc level as a minimum) in business management, finance or engineering and an interest in new technologies. We imagine that you already hold relevant professional certifications as CIA or equivalent.
As a person, you are accountable, quality oriented and have an analytical, problem-solving mindset and the courage to try and learn new things. We expect you to be a dependable and knowledge-sharing team player that cooperates and communicates well at all levels of the organization.
As Banking Circle is an international company, it’s a requirement that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing (oral proficiency in French, Danish or German being a plus). The position will be based at Banking Circle’s head office in Luxembourg, but some travelling must be expected to our branches in Copenhagen, London and Munich.
