Data Governance Manager – Luxembourg or Copenhagen

To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a skilled Data Governance Manager, who are able to reinforce our team through ensuring a high data quality that can facilitate monitoring and decision making. You will be reporting to the Head of Governance, on certain projects there will further be reporting lines to the DPO. The Data Governance Manager will further be a part of defining the framework for our data governance and ensuring that it is implemented within the organization.

Key Responsibilties

  • Part of defining metrics for data quality
  • Engage with data modelling
  • Manage data governance implementation
  • Enable data to support data analytics and AI
  • Collaborate on data quality with key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Take Project lead on certain data related activities
  • Implementing processes, policies and responsibilities

Skills & Qualifications

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a relevant educational background and +5 years of experience in a similar role within finance, insurance or another highly regulated sector. Knowledge about regulatory requirements for governance, information management practices and legal frameworks including GDPR like and PSD2 are required. Furthermore, a good understanding of the System Life Cycle and Lean-Agile process is seen as a great advantage. As a person you are innovative and analytical, with strong project management skills in terms of change and stakeholder management. A high degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability are also highly valued qualifications for this role. As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages it will be an asset. The position will either be based at Banking Circles headquarters in Luxembourg or our office in Copenhagen.
