Head of Procurement – Luxembourg

To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a highly skilled Head of Procurement, who is able to reinforce our team with deep knowledge in the field of procurement and outsourcing oversight. You will be reporting to the CFO and be a part of our growing Finance function covering all of Banking Circle’s offices.
- Continuous development of the central procurement function to support the bank
- Contract negotiations including contract writing in collaboration with Legal
- Develop and maintain the procurement and outsourcing framework and policies
- Define, implement and monitor controls to ensure the organisation adheres to frameworks and policies
- Oversight of outsourced activities
- Periodic assessments of KPI, KRI, SLA, RAG reporting etc.
- Maintain the outsourcing register
- Prepare documentation to authorities
Skills & Qualifications
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have Master’s or Bachelor´s degree in Business Management, IT, Auditing or Finance together with a demonstrated capability from an applicable role where you have gained 5 years of experience within Procurement Management. Preferably you have hands on experience from a regulated institution.
You have an in-depth knowledge of requirement gathering and scoping, outsourcing oversight, and stakeholder involvement. You should be comfortable and calm in negotiations and have a substantial experience with drawing up RFP, RFQ and contracts. Furthermore, LEAN or Agile project management skills is considered a strong asset.
As a person you have good communication skills, are a self-starter and you thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment. You can handle ambiguity and work with competing priorities. Also, you have extensive project and time management capabilities, and can easily take large & complex procurement projects and break them down into manageable pieces. You are in possession of an open attitude and are able to ensure great professional collaboration and have a proven track record of stakeholder management skills.
As Banking Circle is an international company it is a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages it will be an asset. The position will be based at Banking Circle’s Headquarters in Luxembourg.
