To support this and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a highly organised Event Manager who can support our Marketing team. You will be reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer.

​Key Responsibilities

As Event Manager, your objective is to deliver world-class creative execution.

You handle onsite events, from the organisation of logistics to coordination with facilities to arrange a seamless delivery of audio and visual event branding, decor, staffing, talent, entertainment, catering, security, entertainment, and transportation.

As a genuine advisor, you provide consultative ‘one-stop shop’ planning support for sales & other stakeholders to ensure exemplary event experience.

  • ​You ensure global communication and liaison with internal stakeholders, across verticals, to coordinate all aspects of live, hybrid and virtual experiences
  • You develop and execute a strategic marketing event plan that outlines goals, budget, and tactics to enhance event success
  • Manage external event agencies across three continents to ensure a co-ordinated marketing event plan
  • ​Ensure events are run smoothly and resolving any problems that might occur
  • ​Define each event’s KPI with CMO and Sales team, analysing event impact via agreed KPIs and preparing post-event reports
  • ​Understand Banking Circle’s brand, propositions, and target audiences to ensure relevant, engaging events and on-brand messaging

Skills & Qualifications

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have at least 6+ years of experience in event management or in a similar role. Experience in the Payment/FinTech/Banking industry would be an advantage.

Furthermore, we expect you to have:

  • ​​BA/BSc in any relevant discipline (PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field preferred). Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
  • ​Outstanding communication skills with an ability to collaborate across functions and seniority
  • ​Proven track record designing, owning, and executing successful events
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills

As an exceptional team player with a dynamic and open mindset, you enjoy interacting with your colleagues and stakeholders. You have strong organisational and project management skills that enable you to be both flexible, and to deliver against tight deadlines.

You can demonstrate your strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can identify ways to improve efficiency.

As Banking Circle is an international company it is a requirement that you are fluent in English both verbally and in writing. Fluency or working proficiency in other relevant languages will be an asset.

The position will be based at Banking Circle’s offices in Amsterdam.
