The position and why we need you

We’re looking for an independent collaborator who strives for excellence and thrives in a dynamic, international, and multi-cultural environment. As Commercial Insights Specialist you will report to the Head of Insights based in Copenhagen, and you will collaborate with our growing commercial teams, our marketing, and our products team, to deliver targeted insights, advisory and supporting materials.

With a designated and collaborative focus on supporting our commercial activities, your work will include both strategic and tactical tasks, all with the aim to support the business in working from a data-informed approach.

What you will do

  • ​Stay abreast of market and customer trends to guide to future opportunities and develop materials to drive thought-leadership
  • ​Help inform product value propositions, features, USPs and pricing strategies
  • ​Drive customer experience feedback tracks up against the journey and support the continuous roll-out of customer feedback loops
  • ​Derive insights from various sources and deliver into go-to-market strategies
  • ​Manage and execute research & analytics-driven tracks on how to improve and leverage data, to improve behaviour tracking and increase conversions
  • Form part of a cross-functional team with a key role in spotting and verifying customer and market opportunities to support our growth track

Who you are

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have experience in a research or analyst role, ideally from a B2B company and/or payments business. You have a degree in economics, social sciences, or similar – but qualifications and personality matter more.

You have a passion for diving into data, a drive for generating impactful insights and an informed take on what might be coming next. You possess a strong commercial and strategic competence, and desire to work with various stakeholders across business functions, which is vital for your success in this role. You thrive in exploratory spaces where problems may lack definition and are able to set vision and frameworks that guide into solving problems effectively.

You have a sense for when it’s needed to challenge perspectives and when to set direction, always building positive relations. You are committed to communicating insights in a compelling manner and a fantastic communicator with great interpersonal skills and cross-cultural understanding.  You’re highly motivated towards making an impact and equipped to help us perfect our strategy for our future global growth.

As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset. The position will be based at Banking Circle’s new office in Amsterdam and frequent travel to our Copenhagen office should be expected
