The position and why we need you

To support that we are building a new team to help take apart our existing Core Banking system and break it into smaller services around fees and as well as help making the Core Banking system event driven. As the plans for breaking apart the Core Banking system evolves, master data in various forms will become part of the team responsibility. We hire both senior and less senior developers who are interested in how we build a modern fintech in decoupled and event driven services.
- Development and maintenance of services, APIs and back-end solutions
- Applying good engineering practices (like CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)
- Keep learning new things and improving the team’s ability to deliver
- Participate in the event driven service orientated architecture agenda
- Solve business problems in an elegant fashion given the constraints present
Skills & Qualifications
To be the right candidate we expect you to have proven experience of 3+ years within C#, .NET, .NETCore, Web API and REST.
You’ve worked with Microsoft Azure, whether in IaaS or PaaS form, as well as relational databases (MSSQL preferably) and message bus technologies (Azure Service Bus preferably). Experience with data contracts and enterprise messaging patterns would be a plus.
You will be joining a newly started team: a flexible mind, and the ability to always improve processes and tools while prioritising what to improve, will be needed qualifications.
You are curious about new possibilities and act to explore them. Your strong natural curiosity and learning mindset are a must have to thrive in our fast paced environment, as is knowing when things are good enough. You have excellent analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude, who prefers to work in a data-driven and rational decision culture.
You have an educational background within computer science, engineering or another applicable field (BSc level as a minimum). As a person, you are proactive, responsible and quality oriented. You have strong analytical skills and a structured way of working and the courage to try new things. We furthermore expect you to be a dependable and knowledge-sharing team player that cooperates well at all levels of an organization. As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
The position will be based at Banking Circle’s office in Copenhagen.
