To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a highly skilled Associate or Manager for Business Development and Growth. You will be part of our growing Business Development and Growth team, which reports directly to the Chief Growth Officer.
The department oversees the commercial expansion across business units and countries. We initiate and execute on critical growth projects in close collaboration with our colleagues across the group, acting as a catalyst for growth. The team also drives the evaluation of new business opportunities through partnerships and acquisitions together with Finance, Legal and other departments. Finally, the team owns and drives our ambitious global expansion plan together with regional leaders and senior management.
In this role, you will be working across business units to drive Banking Circle’s growth agenda by supporting on and driving a variety of projects, including:
- Business strategy, to guide the company’s direction in close collaboration with management, investors, and internal and external stakeholders
- Projects to monetise our core through improved go-to-market efforts and product add-ons
- Projects to drive monetization beyond the core by targeting new segments, launching new business areas, and establishing ourselves in new markets
- M&A efforts and related workstreams, deal origination, evaluation (incl. Due diligence), and integration
- Participation in commercial dialogues with strategic clients and partners
- Strategy execution updates for Senior Management and Board of Directors meetings
- As part of our team, your will be responsible for driving analyses, workstreams and smaller projects relating to our growth agenda.
Skills & Qualifications
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role where you have 2-4 years of business development/business expansion experience. Relevant experience within FinTech or the Payments industry would be a plus.
You are motivated to be part of a unique growth journey and the opportunity to take on the challenge of building the financial infrastructure of the future. We expect you to have a strong business acumen and an ability to navigate in an international organisation. Furthermore, we expect you to have an analytical mindset with the ability to structure, solve and communicate complex problems, and that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build strong relations with stakeholders.
As a person you are a team player that shows initiative, takes responsibility, and can work independently. You understand that your success in this position will be dependent on your ability to sustainably deliver to a high standard in a fast-paced environment where projects and assignments will vary considerably in nature.
The position will be based at Banking Circle’s office in London, however, flexibility towards other locations is possible.
