The position and why we need you
At Banking Circle, we want to make an impact that pioneers the industry and creates instant value for our clients. To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a skilled Anti-Fraud & Compliance Officer, who can support our Compliance Team. You will be reporting to the Head of Compliance Officer & MLRO, Germany.
In this role, you will manage relationships by partnering with the business to respond to and meet needs. You will also consult with the business on Anti-Fraud and Compliance issues, including policy and procedural changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of our Anti-Fraud prevention and detection strategy
- Analysing client’s transaction flow fraud exposure and identify potential issues
- Monitor client fraud ratios/trends and propose mitigation measures
- Liaise with third-party Anti-Fraud solution providers
- Anticipate, identify and assess the Fraud & Compliance Risks within BC
- Oversee and provide training to increase the level of compliance awareness
Skills & Qualifications
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role where you have gained a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the FinTech sector. Preferably, you have worked with anti-financial crime compliance.
You have in-depth knowledge of local (and European) compliance and regulatory laws and can demonstrate excellent planning and analysis skills. You possess great organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
As a person, you are approachable, self-driven and collaborative, and you have what it takes to be a team player across the whole organisation, who can communicate well with people at all levels.
As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement that you are fluent in English and German. The position will be based at Banking Circle’s Office in Munich.
