Banking Circle closes 2021 as finalist in three 2022 FSTech Awards

The Payments Bank’s impact on the industry recognised by prestigious awards

London, 20th December 2021 – Banking Circle, the Payments Bank, has been named as a finalist in three categories in the FStech Awards 2022.

Reflecting its innovative cross border payment services, the announcement showcases how the company continues to evolve to provide better experiences and value for clients and their customers.

Banking Circle has been named as a finalist in the following categories with the winners announced at a ceremony due to be held on 17th March 2022.

  • Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in Financial Services
  • Cloud Computing Innovation of the Year
  • Digital Transformation Project of the Year

Banking Circle launched its Banking Licence in February 2020 and has accelerated its programme of innovation to further advance its propositions. As part of that journey, the company has transformed its own internal processes to offer a more seamless experience. For instance, it has fully migrated its infrastructure to Microsoft Azure so that it’s now completely cloud-based. It has also significantly invested into developing AI to enhance AML capabilities.
